In case you didn’t catch the latest Jamaican news, we have a general election scheduled for Thursday December 29th. From all indications, it looks to be a very close race. Traditionally this time is one of much violence and intimidation. Yesterday was nomination day and Dad and I had to be out in Spanish Town. We got caught in some long delays of traffic as large emotionally charged crowds were starting to rally in the streets to support their candidate. The news reported no violence and a strong police presence was highly visible. Please keep the nation (and our church family) in your prayers as we approach this date.
